Clinics
What?
A clinic is a special activity which your child pre-registers for that they will focus on during their week of camp.
When?
Clinics will meet either one day for 4 hours or two days for 2 hours each day (Tues., Thurs.). Due to scheduling, children may only attend one clinic per week.
Who?
Boys and Girls, specific age requirements pertain to some clinics, please refer to schedule; registration is on a first come - first serve basis.
Cost?
Clinic pricing varies, see explanation. No refunds for children who drop out of clinic.
How?
To enroll, check the clinics you wish to attend on the enrollment form and include clinic fees with your other camp fees. Make sure your child is enrolled for the week the clinic is scheduled.
Solid Rock Day Camp reserves the right to cancel any clinic at any time before the clinic begins. Campers who have registered for a clinic that has been cancelled will receive a clinic
registration fee refund following their camp stay. No refunds for children who drop out of clinic. |
Archery/Paintball:
Weeks #3, 4, 5, 6
Cost: $35.00
At this two day clinic campers ages 6-14 can learn the fundamentals of archery and paintball. During the clinic they will learn about archery and paintball safety, the different types of equipment used and get to practice shooting in a safe environment. All shooting Is at targets, not Individuals. Certified instructors will be leading the clinic. Clinic has limited enrollment. |

Baseball:
Week #3
Cost: $25.00
Tues. - Campers ages 7-9 will learn the fundamentals of the game – hitting, bunting, fielding, throwing, sliding, pitching and catching.
Thurs. – Campers ages 10-14 will learn the skills to take: their game to the next level. * Bring your own glove |
Basketball:
Week #4
Cost: $25.00
This one day clinic for campers ages 7-11 will provide an enjoyable experience learning and developing the basic basketball skills of dribbling, shooting, passing and being a team member. There will be a fun game of basketball at the end of each session. |

Beach Volleyball:
Week #7
Cost: $25.00
At this one day clinic campers ages 10-14 will have fun on the beach learning the basic skills of volleyball. (Serving, setting. passing, spiking and learning team skills)

Flag Football:
Week #5
Cost: $25.00
This is a one day clinic for campers age. 8-14. Campers will develop basic football skills required for throwing. catching, pass run patterns, and kicking. Drills involve step-by-step instruction and are age appropriate. There will be a fun game of flag football at the end of the session. Clinic will be led by a former NFL New York Jet/Penn state player. |

Horsemanship:
Weeks #4, 5, 6
Cost: $35.00
This one day program is for ages 8-14. Campers will learn safety and balance while gaining independence and control off lead. Campers will be given the opportunity to lean the trot and control at the trot and control at a trot based on ability. CCHI level one horsemanship skills will be taught as well as care and compassion for animals. |
Ranch Fun:
Week #3
Cost: $35.00
This one day program is for the first timer ages 5-7. Campers will mat and learn about ranch animals. They will learn safety skills while working with horses, in the saddle and out. Each camper will have a leadline lesson with an accompanying side walker. Emphasis will be placed on balance and beginner skills.

Soccer:
Week #6
Cost: $25.00
At this one day clinic campers ages 6-11 will learn the fundamentals of playing soccer. Individual skills and team skills will be developed both on and off the field.

Swimming Lessons:
Weeks #3, 4, 5, 6
Cost: $25.00
Non or beginner swimmers ages 4-7 will be taught basic swimming skills. Getting acquainted and comfortable with water, learning how to float and tread, along with basic arm and leg strokes will be taught at this two day clinic.
Swimmers age 8-14 will have their swimming skills refined, taught four basic strokes (front back, breast & side), rotary breathing and treading water at this two day clinic.
All swimming lessons are taught by certified Red Cross lifeguards. |
